Visitor Information - Transportation

The workshop will be held on the Stanford University campus at the Bechtel Center.
Please note that the Bechtel Center is actually behind a row of 3 houses in relationship to the main parking lot. The interactive map shows this configuration.

Parking is available right at the Center, however it costs $1.50/hour at meters or $12/day with a permit. Alternatively you can park at SLAC and take the free Maguarite Shuttle to campus.

Free Maguarite Shuttle information: You want the SLAC route map and schedule on their webpage if you park at SLAC and ride down.

The Maguarite does also travel between the Caltrain station and campus, check their website for schedules and maps if that is how you are traveling.

Parking Permit information: You will need to purchase a permit early Monday. You can verify prices and find the Transportation Office contact information on their website.

    $1.10 one-way. Pick-up is upstairs on departure level near United, or in front of International terminal. Take Bus #KX to Stanford Shopping Center. Take Marguerite shuttle line A (free) to campus; runs Monday-Friday only, 6am - 7:45pm. Bus leaves airport every 30 minutes and take approximately 55 minutes.

    Millbrae Station to University Avenue Station in Palo Alto. Take the SFO-Cal Train Shuttle from SFO to Millbrae Station. Train hours: M-F 5:20 am to 12:20am. Free Marguerite Shuttle from University Avenue Station to Stanford during commuter hours.
